1980 - 1982
An apprenticeship at the Royal gardens in Windsor where I worked in the grounds of Windsor castle.
Spent time working in the greenhouses producing cut flowers for special Royal occasions like Prince Charles and Diana wedding and for sale.
Spent time working in the kitchen gardens producing fruit and vegetables.
Spent time working on the Mushroom farm.
During this time I studied at college for City and Guilds in amenity horticulture.
1982 - 1985
Worked at the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew as a full time employee in the Alpine/ Herbaceous department.
Worked on the Herbaceous borders and on the Rock garden at Kew.
During this time continued with City and Guilds in Amenity horticulture.
1985 - 1986
Went to full time college at Pershore college of Horticulture in Worcestershire.
Studied Garden landscaping/ tree surgery and Horticulture.
Achieved National Certificate in Horticulture
1986 - 1987
Spent time working as a self employed gardener in London
1987 - 1989
Employed as a supervisor at the Chiswick House Grounds in London
Involved in the maintenance of the grounds and the transforming the Gardens to when they were first created in the 18th century
1989 - now
Went Self employed to set up a Garden Landscaping and maintenance company. This began in London and transferred to Hampshire
