Four decades of hands‑on horticulture, from Royal greenhouses to the Rock Garden at Kew.
An apprenticeship in the grounds of Windsor Castle — greenhouses producing cut flowers for Royal occasions including the wedding of Prince Charles and Diana, the kitchen gardens and the mushroom farm. Studied City & Guilds in amenity horticulture.
Full‑time in the Alpine and Herbaceous department, working on the herbaceous borders and the Rock Garden at Kew.
